Epic Tails Charters

Effective Date: January 15,2026

By booking a charter, accommodation, or any service with Epic Tails Charters, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

• All bookings are subject to availability and are confirmed only once a deposit or full payment has been received.
   
• Pricing is listed in Canadian dollars (CAD) unless otherwise stated.
   
• Epic Tails Charters reserves the right to adjust pricing, availability, or packages at any time prior to booking confirmation.
   

• Deposits are non-refundable unless otherwise stated in writing.
   
• Cancellations made within 90 days of the scheduled charter or accommodation start date may result in forfeiture of all payments.
   
• No-shows or early departures are not eligible for refunds.
   
• Weather-related cancellations are at the sole discretion of Epic Tails Charters. Where possible, trips may be rescheduled. Refunds are not guaranteed.
   

• All charters operate at the discretion of the captain based on weather, sea state, safety conditions, and regulatory requirements.
   
• The captain’s decision is final regarding trip delays, route changes, early returns, or trip cancellation for safety reasons.
   
• Epic Tails Charters is not responsible for lost fishing time due to weather, wildlife behavior, mechanical issues, or safety-related decisions.
   

• Guests must follow all safety instructions provided by the captain or crew.
   
• Alcohol consumption is permitted only at the captain’s discretion and may be prohibited entirely.
   
• Illegal drugs or unsafe behavior will result in immediate termination of the charter with no refund.
   
• Guests are responsible for their personal belongings. Epic Tails Charters is not liable for loss, theft, or damage.
   

• Guests are responsible for obtaining valid fishing licenses and understanding applicable regulations.
   
• All guests must comply with federal and provincial fishing laws, size limits, and retention rules.
   
• Epic Tails Charters assumes no liability for violations caused by guest actions.
   

• Accommodations are provided for registered guests only.
   
• Guests agree to treat the property, furnishings, and equipment with care.
   
• Damage beyond normal wear may result in additional charges.
   
• Smoking is prohibited inside the accommodations unless otherwise stated.
   
• Pets are permitted only with prior written approval.
   

• Transportation assistance (such as a side-by-side vehicle) is offered as a courtesy and may be weather- or availability-dependent.
   
• Epic Tails Charters is not responsible for injuries resulting from mobility assistance unless caused by gross negligence.
   

• Marine activities involve inherent risks, including but not limited to weather exposure, slips, falls, equipment use, and wildlife interaction.
   
• By participating, guests voluntarily assume all risks associated with charter and accommodation activities.
   
• Epic Tails Charters, its owners, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for injury, illness, death, or property damage except where required by law.
   

• Guests are responsible for disclosing relevant medical conditions prior to departure.
   
• Epic Tails Charters does not provide medical care and is not responsible for medical emergencies beyond reasonable assistance.
   

• Epic Tails Charters may capture photos or video during trips for promotional use.
   
• By participating, guests grant permission for use of such media unless explicitly declined in writing prior to the trip.
   

• Epic Tails Charters is not liable for delays, cancellations, or interruptions caused by events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to extreme weather, mechanical failure, government restrictions, or acts of God.
   

• Epic Tails Charters reserves the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice.
   
• Continued use of services constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
   

• These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the applicable laws of Canada.
